Sensex up 202 pts; Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, HCL Tech top gainers

Equity benchmark indices were trading in green as except healthcare and oil & gas, all other sectoral indices are trading in the green.



At 14:20 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 73850.87 up by 202.25 points or by 0.27 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22387.3 up by 50.9 points or by 0.23 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 74059.89 and intraday low of 73707.34 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22447.55 and intraday low of 22355.85



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1341.95,+3.35%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 992.55,+1.95%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1494.00,+1.92%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2499.00,+1.62%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12972.45,+1.52%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1484.50,-3.58%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 2935.35,-0.85%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 2075.25,-0.75%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1504.60,-0.51%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3595.10,-0.50%), among others.



Realty index was at 7535.72 up by 196.51 points or by 2.68%. Sobha Ltd. (Rs. 1710.15,+5.56%), Macrotech Developers Ltd. (Rs. 1249.55,+4.56%), Oberoi Realty Ltd. (Rs. 1476.70,+3.63%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd. (Rs. 1284.55,+3.27%), DLF Ltd. (Rs. 888.15,+2.69%),.



Oil&Gas index was at 28384.14 down by -114.66 points or by -0.4%. Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 168.60,-1.32%), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4118 , shares advanced were 2450 while 1500 shares declined and 168 were unchanged.
