The Indian equity indices extended gains for the second straight session on April 22 following positive global cues as worries over Iran-Israel tensions eased a bit.
Market started gap-up and remained rangebound with positive bias throughout the session and closed near the day's high on buying across sectors.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 73648.62 up by 560.29 points or by 0.77 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22336.4 up by 189.4 points or by 0.86 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 73767.8 and intraday low of 73227.32 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22375.65 and intraday low of 22198.15
