Gopal Snacks Q4 net profit down 4.39% at Rs 26.11 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 26.11 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 27.31 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 4.39 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 8.96 per cent at Rs 358.72 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 329.21 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 11.23 per cent to Rs 319.90 crore from Rs 287.61 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 75.31 per cent at Rs 1.42 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 0.81 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 12.61 per cent to Rs 38.82 crore as against Rs 44.42 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 19.79 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 71.20 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.55 crore, while Taxation decreased by 29.01 per cent at Rs 4.16 crore (Mar'23 Rs 5.86 crore).
