Hero MotoCorp Q4 net profit up 18.29% at Rs 1016.05 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1,016.05 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 858.93 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 18.29 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 14.60 per cent at Rs 9,519.30 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 8,306.78 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 12.96 per cent to Rs 8,160.15 crore from Rs 7,223.78 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 24.01 per cent at Rs 180.04 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 236.92 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 25.50 per cent to Rs 1,359.15 crore as against Rs 1,083.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 9.51 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 2.56 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.56 crore, while Taxation increased by 15.92 per cent at Rs 333.53 crore (Mar'23 Rs 287.73 crore).
