Maruti Suzuki India Q4 net profit jumps 47.80% at Rs 3877.80 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 3,877.80 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 2623.60 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 47.80 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 19.06 per cent at Rs 36,697.50 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 30,821.80 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 16.91 per cent to Rs 33,549.90 crore from Rs 28,697.70 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 50.51 per cent at Rs 1,118.00 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 742.80 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 39.84 per cent to Rs 4,685.00 crore as against Rs 3,350.30 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 17.48 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 23.11 per cent y-o-y to Rs 76.20 crore, while Taxation increased by 77.44 per cent at Rs 1,120.00 crore (Mar'23 Rs 631.20 crore).
