Indian Hotels Co Q4 net profit up 23.46% at Rs 369.08 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 369.08 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 298.94 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 23.46 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 18.61 per cent at Rs 1,341.65 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,131.12 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 15.55 per cent to Rs 755.51 crore from Rs 653.85 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 20.99 per cent at Rs 41.51 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 34.31 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 22.81 per cent to Rs 586.14 crore as against Rs 477.27 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 3.56 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 19.43 per cent y-o-y to Rs 25.79 crore, while Taxation increased by 19.84 per cent at Rs 132.63 crore (Mar'23 Rs 110.67 crore).
